These terms apply when you order an Ercigoj watch through watches.ercigoj.com. Please read them before you place your order. You can save or print this page at any time, and we also send them to you by email with the confirmation of your order.

1. Who sells the watch

The seller is VEZENJE ERCIGOJ proizvodno in trgovsko podjetje d.o.o. (Vezenje Ercigoj d.o.o.), Gasilska cesta 18, 1000Ljubljana, Slovenia; registration number 5694973000; VAT number SI96709146. 2. The watches

Every Ercigoj watch is made to order at the studio in Ljubljana. The model pages describe each watch's main characteristics, its specifications and the colors available. Each dial is embroidered, stitched by machine from a motif prepared and centered by hand, so small differences in thread texture and shade from the photographs are a natural part of the piece and not a defect.

3. Prices and delivery costs

Prices are in euros. For delivery within the European Union the price includes the VAT of the country the watch is delivered to (for example 22 % for Slovenia and Italy, 19 % for Germany, 20 % for Austria); the rate is shown in the checkout once you enter the delivery address, before you pay. Outside the European Union the price is shown without VAT. Delivery is charged separately: we ship every watch by DHL Express from Ljubljana, at 70 € for delivery within the European Union (Slovenian VAT included) and 85 € elsewhere (no VAT); the delivery cost is shown in the checkout, before you pay, as part of the total. Each watch is paid in full when you order: CORNELY costs 2,500 €, including any colors you choose for its dial; JACQUARD costs 2,800 €, in one of the colors of its palette. Where a model page does not yet show a final price, or where you ask for an option that costs extra, such as a color outside a model's palette, we confirm the full price in writing before production begins, and you decide then whether to go ahead; if you do not, we refund everything you paid in full.

Delivery outside the European Union is an export, exempt from Slovenian VAT: the VAT comes off the price, so you pay 2,049.18 € for CORNELY and 2,295.08 € for JACQUARD, and the pages show you these prices when you visit from outside the European Union. Delivery outside the European Union costs 85 €, without VAT. The destination country may charge its own import VAT, duties and customs fees on arrival; they are not included in our price and are paid by you.

4. How you order

  1. On the model page you press Order. You are taken to our checkout page, where in the secure payment form of our provider Stripe you enter your name, email, telephone, billing and delivery address; the delivery cost for your address is added to the total, and you place the order by pressing Pay, by card or PayPal. Until you confirm the payment you can check and correct every detail, or leave the checkout without any obligation.
  2. The contract is concluded when your payment is made. You see a confirmation straight away, and the studio then emails you a confirmation of your order together with these terms, so you have them on a durable medium. We keep a copy of every contract and of the terms that applied to it, and send it to you on request.
  3. The studio contacts you to agree the embroidery colors for CORNELY. For JACQUARD you choose the color when you order; a color outside its palette costs a surcharge that we confirm in writing under section 3 before production begins.
  4. Nothing further is due: production begins once the studio has confirmed your order and, for CORNELY, your colors.
  5. We deliver your watch once it is finished.

The contract is concluded in English.

5. Your payment

The price is charged to your card or PayPal account when you order; it is not merely reserved. It holds your watch and your place in the production queue.

Until production of your watch begins, you can cancel your order at any time, without giving a reason, by writing to watches@ercigoj.com. We then refund everything you paid within 14 days, to the card or PayPal account you paid with. We refund it in full in the same way if we cannot make your watch, or if you do not accept a price or lead time we confirm under sections 3 and 6. This is in addition to your statutory right of withdrawal (section 7), never instead of it.

6. Delivery

We deliver to: Austria, Germany, Italy, Croatia, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong. We do not deliver within Slovenia; customers in Slovenia are welcome at the studio in Ljubljana. If your country is not on the list, write to us before you order.

Production and delivery take 6–8 weeks, counted from the day you pay for your order. Where a model page gives no lead time yet, we confirm it in writing together with the price. Your watch is sent in its hardwood box by courier, and we email you the tracking details. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you name other than the carrier, take the parcel.

If we cannot deliver within the time we confirmed, we tell you straight away, and you may cancel and receive a full refund of everything you paid.

7. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period ends 14 days after the day you, or a person you name other than the carrier, receive the watch. We refund everything you paid, including delivery, within 14 days of your notice. 8. If something is wrong with your watch

We are liable for any lack of conformity that exists when the watch is delivered and becomes apparent within two years of delivery. Please tell us within two months of noticing it, at watches@ercigoj.com. You are then entitled, free of charge, to have the watch repaired or replaced, and where that is not possible or not done in time, to a price reduction or a full refund, as the Slovenian Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-1) provides. If the fault appears within 30 days of delivery, you may ask for a refund straight away. These rights cannot be limited by contract.

9. Warranty

In addition, every Ercigoj watch carries a two-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, valid worldwide. A printed warranty card comes with the watch, and its terms are on the warranty page. The warranty never limits your statutory rights under section 8.

10. Complaints and disputes

Please send complaints to watches@ercigoj.com or by mail to our address. We confirm receipt within five business days, tell you how long we need to deal with it, and keep you informed.

We try to settle every disagreement directly with you. We do not recognize any provider of out-of-court consumer dispute resolution as competent to resolve consumer disputes with us. You may contact the Market Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia (Tržni inšpektorat Republike Slovenije), Dunajska cesta 160, 1000 Ljubljana, or, if you live elsewhere in the EU, the European Consumer Center in your country, and you can always go to court. Slovenian law still refers to the European Online Dispute Resolution Platform, but that platform was discontinued and Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 was repealed with effect from 20 July 2025 by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228, so there is no link to give.

12. Governing law

These terms and the contract are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country.
